I read an article this spring about a new theory regarding the money pit at Oak Island. The new theory is that the Templars who were exiled from Europe in the Middle Ages and dissapeared with 350 ships and almost all the weath from Europe built it. The Templars were at the time The wealthy class and were in charge of banking, trade and were reponsible for the advanced construction projects of their time. When they dissapeared so did the wealth. Originally Oak Island was thought to have been constructed by pirates, but given the nature of pirates to sack, drink, and whore till broke then go sack again, this seams unlikely. Pirates spent their loot as fast as they stole it andpirate trusure stories are mostly myth. The elaborate pit and booby traps are something that the Templars could have constructed(they built amazing cathedrals in Europe). Pirates had a hard time getting over their hangovers let along undertake such an elaborate trap as to prevent recovery for 200 years.
Note to Jenny: The Island was recently sold to a new group who believe that they will finally find the treasure. They are planning to start digging this summer if they already haven’t. They are being much more secretive than previous expeditions, and the Island is off limits to visitors.
why do big fat white men in construction think they can intimidate people of a smaller body size?
I am a 5 feet 8 inch tall 160 pound american born chinese man. I work as an owners rep in construction projects. I oversee the work of the general contractor on site doing the work. If they do work according to the plans, I pay them on behalf of the owner. I manage time, budget, and quality of the work of others. If the general contractor is not meeting his part of the contract, I can withhold any payment for the work.
Each time I step onto a new project, the general contractor superintendent who is usually a fat white man six feet tall and 300 pounds act the same way. His characteristics is that he is a bully, he raises his voice, looks upset, barks at you, and very cavemanlike. He puts up an act, he is trying to bully his way towards arguments. I guess when he was a little boy, he was the fat one in class and how he gets his way is to bully people. So that is all he knows and is his personality he chooses to go into battle with as it have served him well. Such a person is rude, a brute and I never let him get his way when he is like this, but why do I have to be subjected to such an affront from whiteman. One time I did not take it anymore and I went and slash all his tires. I am going to defend my pride and integrity and I made him pay dearly. These white people think they can push chinese people around, but they cant’ with me, and that really shocks them, it is not suppose to happen, they are use to getting there way. too bad. So now, you can understand why I believe white people are bigots right? white people I encounter for 40 years now, act this way, racist bigots. One time I was in MBA class and the white boys there are so snotty. they look down on chinese. and I just laugh about how these white boys continue to be, so insecure inside, they have a need to stick with other whiteboys and think alike, they cant be individuals with their own minds, always having a need to stay inside their white coocoon social circles for fear of being different. how lame. too bad, I have a choice, I am now working in China and loving it. I have found China to be much better than the arrogant dumb white american culture and also make more money and lots of fine virgin women as compared to the tattooed whores you find in white american women.
Why does the media continue to say that we’re in a recession when that’s clearly not true?
I am an engineer and up to my eyeballs in work. So are all of the other engineers i know. There are construction projects going on all around me and every time i go to the mall, it’s packed with shoppers. People are spending and making money all over the place but whenever I listen to the news, I think it’s 1929 all over again. Are they lying? If so, why?

WASHINGTON — The economic stimulus package President Obama signed on Tuesday gives a huge boost to a host of social programs, research proposals and construction projects that Democrats and advocacy groups have been promoting for years.
The 7 billion stimulus legislation contains new spending on health care, education, energy and the environment, including for programs to teach math and reading in poor school districts, build high-speed rail systems, study disease prevention, weatherize homes and more.
"We’re putting Americans to work doing the work that America needs done in critical areas that have been neglected for too long," Obama said in Denver, as he signed into law what he called "the most sweeping economic recovery package in our history."

Is Obama's $600 billion spending plan tacit admission that trickle down works?
Obama plans to spend billions on infrastructure. That’s fine, but how does that work? Obama will spend millions on several construction projects. For example, Obama will might give 0,000,000 to a company to build a bridge. The owners of this company will take that money and pass a portion of it onto its employees to pay for their wages. They will also pass a portion of it onto other companies to purchase products to make the bridge, such as steel, machinery, etc… This will create jobs and spark the economy. From there, those employees will go and spend their checks on various things…clothing, beer, tickets to a movie, etc… which will provide wages for employees in other companies, and the cycle will start again.
Other than the source of the original income (the government instead of private citizens), this is a version of the trickle-down theory.
How do you like how Law Enforcement really works in Ga and its illegal immigrant population?
Today I want to focus on how SB529 is affecting Georgia and its illegal immigrant population. Two things I have personally noted since the new laws have gone into effect:
- Car sales are taking a hit now that illegal immigrants cannot get vehicle tags without proper identification.
- More ‘Now Hiring’ signs going up for local businesses.
Let’s see what the news media is reporting:
Rumor has it that many illegal immigrant families in Georgia are planning to leave the U.S. by December and it looks as if the new employee verification processes are starting to have an effect on the illegal immigration population.
Georgia businesses are starting to evaluate their hiring practices so they will be in compliance with SB529, and so their business does not become the next target on ICE’s hit list.
Also in Georgia, some local counties have taken illegal immigration matters into their own hands by requiring any company that bids on their construction projects to have legal employees. Gwinnett county has received a small backlash from business owners, but commissioners are downplaying the issue saying that most business owners understand the county’s decision.
Interestingly, big agricultural businesses who regularly hire illegal immigrants are having no problems with keeping a steady stream of employees. In fact, it has been nearly three weeks since SB 529 has been in effect, and there is still a surplus of illegal immigrant workers available to the industry.
Regardless, the new laws and their enforcement seem to be working, and I suspect the surplus mentioned above will start to dwindle as more illegal immigrants find it harder to obtain personal transportation.
Now, if we could just get the open borders advocates to understand that enforcing the law is neither racist, nor xenophobic, we’ll be in great shape…
