I need a whopper air purifier that will do all the things listed below?
for my bedroom only: to filter out dust, cigarette smoke and outside allergens like pollen, etc. There has been a lot of construction next door and with spring allergies, opening up a window brings a torrent of bad news.

What separates “News” from “opinion”?
After watching the national news nonstop for the last couple of weeks, I just wondered why today’s brand of news is more like gossip and opinion than a representation of authentic journalistic reporting.

Is it possible to find a job in construction industry in dubai now ? as financial crisis is still goin on…?
I am a mechanical engineer (Indian) having one year experience in planning and scheduling in the construction industry in India.
I am planning to visit Dubai in search of a job.But these days I am hearing some very bad news about Dubai job market, esp in construction industry and most of the companies work is cut by 60-80%.
Even if i gets a job there what range of salary will be provided.

Powering China?
(Sierraclub.org, Aug 17, 2006) China is now the 2nd biggest consumer of electricity in the world, after the U.S., and most of that power comes from coal. That’s the bad news. The good news is that the Chinese leadership knows it has a problem and is taking some steps to rein in the country’s burgeoning fossil fuel appetite. To cite one example, the government has mandated the use of solar power to heat water in all new housing construction in the booming city of Shenzhen. By 2010, according to official reports, half of the new buildings in the economic power house will have solar water heating systems, while 20 percent of them will use solar power for generating electricity. Let’s hope it’s just the beginning of a much wider trend.
