It has been widely reported today on various national news outlets that Obama admitted "there is no such thing as a shovel ready project". In your opinion did he:
A: On purpose mislead the American people
B. Is ignorant on economic matters such as construction
C: Was only saying what his handlers told him to say
D: Knew better but lied for political gain
Should Western Union be investigated? News special mentioned how?
they make serious money off the illegals as they send bilions out of the country. It also said they lobby for it. Also some whine that illegals live 15 in a house. When I was in nuclear or oil refinery construction, we would rent a house and have a bunch of us there and pay a month. Also go to the store or Western Unon and ask how many come n and send money out of the country, here it’s 0-600 each week and many.

In about a week, Beach officials will be given the authority to audit new contractors to ensure they don’t hire illegal workers. But many of the details – including under what circumstances an investigation would be launched and what documents city officials will use to verify immigration status – remain unclear.
"It’s not mapped out exactly how we would do it," City Attorney Les Lilley said.
The audits are part of guidelines announced by Beach officials and approved by the City Council last week. Vendors also will have to certify that they don’t hire illegal immigrants.
The clauses will be included in all new city contracts for more than ,000 and will affect about 175 vendors who perform construction, software development, janitorial and landscape management work for Virginia Beach.
The city has standards in place to deal with issues such as vendor complaints about the bidding process, but not immigration, said Joanne Griggs, Virginia Beach’s auditor.
"This is new territory," Griggs said. "I would want to make sure that we have a very tight process so the outcome is fair to any individual living and working in this city."
Depending on the procedures, the city’s four auditors might need some additional resources and training, Griggs said.
This is the second policy targeting illegal immigration that Virginia Beach has adopted since two teens were killed last spring by a drunken driver who was an illegal immigrant. The case drew national media attention, and anti-illegal-immigration advocacy groups pressed city officials for action.
In May, police officers began asking everybody they arrested whether they were in the country legally.
Virginia Beach Sheriff Paul Lanteigne said the new policy might be the reason for the increasing number of illegal immigrants in the city’s jail. In May, the jail housed 23 illegal immigrants; by October there were 72 illegal immigrants reported, Lanteigne said.
Alicia Fernandez-Bobulinski, director of Hispanic outreach for the Making a Difference Foundation, said she has heard that officers are asking immigration status questions prior to making an arrest, in instances such as traffic stops.
"Faith is being lost," Fernandez-Bobulinski said. "The administration is saying one thing, and another thing is happening on the street."

Russia's Stance on North Korea..According to the Russian News and Information Agency?
Moscow opposed to tough measures against North Korea.
There should be no doubt that Moscow will oppose any tough measures related to the North Korean nuclear problem, which was exacerbated by Pyongyang’s recent nuclear test. At the very least, Moscow will continue to support six-party talks involving North Korea, the United States, Russia, China, South Korea and Japan. At most, it will press for direct American-North Korean negotiations.
Russia believes that the situation deteriorated after the U.S. accused North Korea of having resumed its uranium enrichment program in October 2002, an allegation that was not supported by any evidence. When America suspended construction of two light-water nuclear reactors in North Korea, despite their bilateral framework agreement, Pyongyang responded by officially withdrawing from the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. What followed is well known.
It’s the United States fault that the North Koreans were caught breaking the agreement????

SOME Chinese believe that accidents on the North-South Expressway near Tangkak are due to an angry Datok Kong (Grandfather Deity) in the area, reports China Press.
Residents believe the deity is a guardian of a hill or an area and they would hold prayers for protection.
The daily reported that the stretch of the highway was prone to accidents and several would occur each year.
The latest involved a bus heading towards Johor Baru and Singapore from Perak on Sunday which killed 10 people.
Earlier this year, two separate accidents killed seven people along the stretch.
A trader, known only as Chan, told the daily that nearby residents believed that the area was guided by the three Datok Kong before the highway was built.
But no prayers were held to appease the deities when the highway was constructed.
“We believe this had angered Datok Kong who will ‘catch’ some people every year,” he said.
He added that locals believe that the stretch is “dirty” and would take extra precaution when driving.
“According to some Malays, the area was previously a Malay cemetery and not enough prayers were held before construction work started,” he said.
Does America know that the first responder Ironworker/Construction workers did more then FDNY/NYPD on 9/11?
Like my uncle who is a New York City ironworker, they never get ANY recognition for the work they did on 9/11 and the days after it, they did the most out of ANYONE down there infact, thats right more then the FDNY, NYPD and The Port Authority. It seems they never get noticed though, the Ironworkers are the ones who picked up bodies, limbs, heads, hands whatever, moved the steel so that the suvivors could be rescued, my uncle told me that the Firefighters used to wait for the News and TV cameras to film the picking up bodies with American flags wrapped around them. Sure they did their sh!t as well, but I NEVER hear anyone talk about the brave Ironworker and constuction workers who were down there minutes after the 1st tower was hit like my uncle who now suffers from severe asthma and other lung issues. How many Americans even know about this?
Uhh they already know, Ironworkers are involved in all ground zero events. This was targeted towards the media, and people who watch it. I’m just informing the rest of the world, Ironworkers, FDNY and NYPD all get along very well, since 9/11. =]
Come on man, the FDNY guys are on the media 24/7, plenty of Ironworkers lost their lives on 9/11 and still are due to lung issues.
